Castell Howell Foods is Wales’ leading independent food service wholesaler, servicing the length and breadth of Wales, the Border Counties and the South West of England.  We currently have vacancies for Food Production Operatives based at Farm Fresh, Cross Hands.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and produce food product in a controlled environment as per daily orders in accordance with food safety standards
  • Ensure that recipes are adhered to and that no deviation occurs at any time
  • Adhere to Health and Safety practices and observe Health and Safety standards as per current legislation
  • Follow and monitor a daily and weekly cleaning schedule
  • Maintain stock rotation in accordance with correct storage of food products
  • Observe the correct method and implementation of packaging and labelling
  • Ensure all company traceability procedures are adhered to
  • Maintain a minimum of level 2 food safety certificate
