Key Account Manager for the Foodservice side of the Business

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for building and and maintaining strong sales relationships with key accounts. Identify new markets of growth. Work closely with Commercial Manager to deliver annual budget

RESPONSIBILITIES

To:

  • Extract and analyse sales data from key commercial accounts.
  • Produce sales forecasts for each commercial account
  • Agree sales targets with Sales and Commercial Director
  • Analyse and evaluate KPIs; report to Sales and Commercial Director
  • Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on sales data and other KPIs
  • Plan and co-ordinate promotions for multi-retailers and wholesalers
  • Assist with store events and launches if required
  • Assess and evaluate feasibility of promotions in relation to production
  • Liaise with production team concerning promotions
  • Maintain existing core lines; plan and negotiate new lines with NPD
  • Work with account holders on identifying and maximise opportunities for growth
  • Deliver presentations to accountholders centred on possible growth plans
  • Agree and sign off growth plans with customers
  • Devise methods of improving sales data to gather information on clients
  • Maintain and develop excellent client relationships
  • Monitor large accounts regularly, resolving any discrepancies and issues
  • Evaluate Market Data
  • Assist with NPD Launches; plan and organise any instore events
  • Complete all administrative tasks in a timely and accurate manner
