We are currently looking for a Technical Operator based at our Blaenavon site, on the PM 2.30pm to 10.30pm. Hourly rate plus 10% shift allowance and overtime as required.
You will assist the Working Line Leader in the day to day manufacturing and packing operations.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities
Where relevant, requesting of raw materials through formal requisitions in accordance with production plans, allowing sufficient time for tempering of materials, stores collection and transfer of ingredients/materials to production etc.
To be able to use and understand the company operational system (SI).
Preparation of materials as required for mix sheets inc. scanning Intermediates
Correct stock rotation within the area of control, through application and monitoring of appropriate labels. To be the responsible person for the returns process and monitoring of held stock through daily chiller date life checks sheets.
To maintain the cleanliness of the area throughout the shift and enforce the CAYG policy ensuring correct GMP at all times.
Completion of Paperwork.
Responsible for the effective operation of the processes and machine setup/settings and any associated paperwork and procedures in line with relevant work instructions, walking the lines and highlighting any machinery related problems to the WLL or Engineers

Ensuring Line standards are visible, in place and being followed
All line start up paperwork (Technical/Production/H&S) is completed for the appropriate equipment in area
