Bama UK acquired Easibake in November 2020 and is on a period of transforming the Company. We are looking for talented individuals to join us on this exciting journey and have an opportunity for an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer to become part of our team.

The Role

The role of a Multi-skilled Engineer is to provide industrial maintenance support to ensure the safe and effective operation of the production facility. Key responsibilities include automated equipment setup, teardown, troubleshooting and repair of systems comprised of PLCs, motor controls, electrical wiring, AC inverters, DC controllers, and industrial mechanical systems including pneumatics, bearings, seals, gears, chains, and sprockets. The use of shop machinery and normal industrial tools for repair purposes supports fulfilment of these responsibilities.
Keys to success will be the individual’s knowledge of manufacturing systems, the skills needed to maintain, repair and troubleshoot those systems, and the ability to effectively interact with fellow team members and internal customers.

Required Experience:

• HNC or above in Engineering
• Maintenance experience in manufacturing, preferably in the food industry
• Maintenance and repair of motor controls, general industrial wiring and hardware, and electrical troubleshooting
• Maintenance and repair of mechanical systems including pneumatics, bearings, seals, gears, chains, sprockets, pipe fitting, and appropriate lubrication of mechanical systems

Shift Pattern

The shift pattern is working 12 hour shifts, 4 days on – 2 days: 6am – 6pm then 2 nights: 6pm – 6am followed by 4 days off

Experience:
