We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our Kitchen Team. As Sous Chef you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in the delivery of an excellent dining experience in the new outlets at the college and off site which includes contemporary food reflecting modern food cookery processes and presentation styles. You will be involved in the design and creation of unique and excellent menus ensuring that costing is effective and seasonal. You will also assist in controlling the budget for the purchasing of food goods working with the Head Chef to produce a monthly profit and loss account. The Sous Chef will also be responsible for deputising for the Head Chef when required.
- Excellent kitchen skills and purchasing skills
- Knowledge of current trends in food and food production
- Basic Food Hygiene Qualification
- At least 3 years previous experience of working in a kitchen environment at a similar level.
