We are pleased to announce an opening in our Twt Lol Brewery team. The brewery has been expanding and we are looking for a member of staff with excellent knowledge of craft beer and cider to join us.  With a loyal and growing customer base we sell our own produce as well as specialisy craft beer and cider from around the UK and beyond. The scope of the job at present is to serve in our shop at the front of our brewery, but there is potential to get involved with all brewery operations from general brewery assistant to sales and marketing.

Job Help is the government’s new, dedicated website for jobseekers. It has articles, tips and guides to help users identify good sectors to look for jobs in right now, as well as helping them to demonstrate transferable skills, and make successful applications.  It also directs them to the Government’s job matching service: Find a Job.

The service is run by the Department for Work and Pensions, but will be regularly updated with the latest advice and links from across the government to serve as a ‘one stop shop’ for job seeking advice.

Employer Help

Employer Help provides support for employers who are thinking of making redundancies as well as encouraging those in other sectors to aid their rapid expansion by making use of the Find a Job service, and ensuring their vacancies are as accessible as possible to people needing to change sectors.

The service is run by the Department for Work and Pensions, but will be regularly updated with the latest advice and links from across the government to ensure employers of all sizes can navigate the current economic difficulties as best they can.

Find a Job

Find a Job is the government’s, free to use, job matching service. In response to the COVID-19 crisis, the Department for Work and Pensions has worked to boost the number of vacancies on the site and promote key sectors that are recruiting to meet the challenges they are currently facing.

More than 145,000 private and public sector employers, large and small, have registered and the service is open to employers and recruitment agencies who recruit on their behalf.

ReAct Scheme

If you’ve been made redundant, you could be entitled to ReAct funding to retrain or update your skills. If you’ve got a new employer lined up, they too could get funding towards your wages and further training.

Support under the ReAct scheme is available for individuals who:

  • have become unemployed in the last 3 months as a result of redundancy, are currently unemployed, and who have not been in continuous employment for 6 weeks or more since being made redundant
  • are currently under notice of redundancy
  • have not undertaken any publicly funded training since being made redundant, including the work-based learning suite of programmes
